BLANK FILLER seeks to distill and extract the ‘objectness’ of forms in a compare and contrast situation. The beauty of the object and the viewer reaches a co-equal state of objectification.
ie: ‘degraded to the status of a mere object’.
The impetus for this project comes from an interest in the audio track of video recordings, falling pretty much into the realm of *audio description, also called video description in current television broadcast technology. And a fascination and or realization with the audio track of hidden camera or discreet recording being in retrospect experience equally revealing of situations and persons than the video track.

BLANK FILLER is a minimalist assemblage of flat screen monitors, analog cameras, augmented furniture & electronics.
The assemblage includes pre-recorded video alongside live playback. Here-in we have the video content of the show as a ‘body double’ or placeholder of the contents used in the making of the work.
